Problems
Aside from doctrinal and social problems associated with the Mormonism Movement, the temple is considered to be the place where God Almighty visits this Earth and His followers. Given that assumption, the Mormon Endowment contains a number of moral, historical, and logical problems for believing members, such problems as:
- The link to Freemasonry
- The subjugation of women
- The numerous changes
- The ban on black people
- The lack of divine discernment
- The sexual nature of the ritual
- The lack of consent
- The allegiance to church leaders
